# Observability

> Review traffic, errors, and request latency across your surfaces.

Open [Observability](https://interfere.com/~/*/observability) for a workspace-wide view of incoming telemetry. Use it to spot changes in traffic or request performance before narrowing your investigation to a surface or problem.

## Choose a time window

Use the time control above the charts to select the period you want to review. Compare the same window across charts when investigating a spike or a drop in traffic.

## Read the charts

Events, unique sessions, unique devices, and error occurrences are broken down by surface. The failed-request and latency charts show request performance across the workspace.

A device count is not a count of identified users. One person can use more than one device. Open [Users](/docs/product/users.md) when you need a specific customer's sessions and problems.

## Inspect endpoints

The **Endpoints** section summarizes request activity by endpoint. Select **View all** to open the endpoint list for the selected time window.

For a particular app, open it in [Surfaces](/docs/product/surfaces). To read an investigation and the evidence behind a failure, open the problem in [Inbox](/docs/product/inbox).
