# Create an app

> Connect a separately deployed app to your workspace.

An app represents something you monitor. Give separately deployed frontends and backend services their own apps.

Open [New app](https://interfere.com/~/*/apps/create), enter a name, and choose the framework. Copy the public key for SDK ingestion and the secret API key for your build environment.

Follow the matching [SDK installation guide](https://interfere.com/docs/quickstart.md#install-the-sdk), then link the app to its repository and deployment project.
