# Get the most out of Interfere

> Work faster, and use Interfere the way it's meant to be used.

Interfere is a platform, not a dashboard you glance at. It's where your team investigates, discusses, and resolves problems together, so the more of your work you bring into it, the more it does for you.

## A place to work, not a tool to check

Treat Interfere as where the work happens. Problems arrive already investigated, your team discusses and assigns them on the [timeline](/product/problems), and the conversation stays in one place instead of scattering across alerts and threads. The aim is to open your [workspace](https://interfere.com/~/*) for an answer, not to dig through data.

## Move fast with the keyboard

Interfere is built to be driven from the keyboard.

* **Command palette.** Press <kbd>⌘</kbd> <kbd>K</kbd> to jump anywhere, search your problems, and run actions without reaching for the mouse.
* **Jump between areas.** A single key moves you around: <kbd>i</kbd> for your home, <kbd>u</kbd> for users, <kbd>s</kbd> for surfaces.
* **Go-to chords.** Press <kbd>g</kbd> then a second key to open settings: <kbd>g</kbd> <kbd>w</kbd> workspace, <kbd>g</kbd> <kbd>p</kbd> profile, <kbd>g</kbd> <kbd>a</kbd> alerts, <kbd>g</kbd> <kbd>i</kbd> integrations, <kbd>g</kbd> <kbd>t</kbd> team, <kbd>g</kbd> <kbd>b</kbd> billing.

## Bring your team in

Interfere is most useful when everyone who touches the product is in it.

* **Invite the whole team,** not just engineers. A problem might land with a designer or a product manager. See [Team](https://interfere.com/~/*/settings/team).
* **Connect Slack** so problems, mentions, and assignments reach people where they already work, and they can act without switching tabs. See [Slack](/integrations/slack) or open the [Slack integration](https://interfere.com/~/*/settings/integrations/slack).
* **Connect your code and deploys** so every problem arrives linked to the commit and release behind it. See [Integrations](/integrations/overview) or open [**Settings → Integrations**](https://interfere.com/~/*/settings/integrations).
